As a Sales Counselor for McKinley Homes TX, LLC, you’ll be the bridge between dreams and reality, guiding clients toward homes designed with quality, innovation, and care. Responsibilities
Lead homebuyers through the new home sales process and stay engaged with prospects through personalized, timely communication. Build trust and foster relationships with the Realtor community, and consistently generate new prospects through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up.
Blend modern marketing tools (CRM, social media) with strong listening skills to gather feedback, solve problems, and address objections—driving sales while ensuring a positive, seamless homebuying experience. Conduct engaging tours for prospects, showcasing the community, available lots, and inventory homes, and actively participate in local events and sales organizations to promote both the community and McKinley Homes.
Provide and monitor competitor information consistently, including pricing, current incentives, and sales pace. Ensure model homes, sales offices, and completed inventory homes are well-maintained, organized, and welcoming, presenting a professional and inviting atmosphere for all visitors.
Collaborate and communicate with internal team members to ensure smooth coordination and information flow throughout the sales and construction processes. Coordinate walkthroughs and closings with the homebuyer and internal team members to keep all parties informed and aligned. Complete paperwork and follow the McKinley Homes sales process consistently and accurately.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of sales experience with strong closing and negotiation skills; familiarity with mortgage financing is preferred. Outstanding character and integrity, paired with ambition and a drive to succeed.
Exceptional communication skills in person, via email, and in virtual settings (Zoom or Microsoft Teams). New home sales experience is preferred.
A valid driver’s license and a clean, four-door vehicle to drive customers from sales offices to homesites. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat is required; experience in digital marketing and CRM systems will be strongly considered.
