CAD Drafter – Residential Construction Location: Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 Employment Type: Full-Time (in office) Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Drafter with experience in residential construction to join our growing team. This full-time position focuses on the production and development of home plans with a production builder. Experience with AutoCAD Architecture (2D currently is needed only) residential building/design/drafting is essential. Key Responsibilities • Interpret and apply markups provided by various disciplines to develop accurate design layouts. • Revise drawings according to redlines and review feedback. • Convert rough sketches and initial designs into detailed, working documents using AutoCAD Architecture software. • Follow established technical standards and specifications to create high-quality construction drawings. • Collaborate with team members to refine and correct plan layouts. • Modify, create, and release construction documents for use by purchasing and field construction teams. • Ensure all drawings convey correct and complete information. Qualifications • Associate’s degree, technical diploma in Architectural/Engineering Drafting or experience within the home building industry. • Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture (AutoCAD Certification is a plus). • Strong understanding of residential construction and design standards. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
